Privacy policy Back to the start

What this site knows about you.

The short answer is: almost nothing. We know your email only if you typed it and confirmed it. There is no advertising cookie and no cross-site tracking. Below is the detail, without the fine print.

Who we are

AromadeGaia is a brand of AROMADEGAIA CORP, a Florida company operating as an independent dōTERRA Wellness Advocate. For anything concerning your data, write to [[MAIL]].

What we collect on this site

Only what you type. The site has a field where you can leave your email, and it is optional: you can read everything, click everything and buy without ever filling it in. If you don't fill it in, we hold nothing that identifies you. There is no social pixel, and we use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your language preference stays in your own browser's local storage — it is never sent to us or to anyone, and clearing site data in your browser erases it.

The email form

If you leave your email, that is all we ask for — the email, and your first name if you care to give it. The consent box is never pre-checked: you check it. We then send a message asking you to confirm by clicking a link, and only then does the address join the list. This is called double opt-in, and it exists so that nobody is signed up by mistake or by somebody else. We keep the date, time and IP address of that confirmation as proof that it was you. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, it works in one click, and we don't ask why. You can also write to [[MAIL]] and ask to be removed.

Who processes the emails for us

We use Brevo (Sendinblue), a French company, to send and store that list. This means your address also sits on their servers, under the data processing agreement we hold with them. Brevo processes on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. Their policy is at brevo.com. We use no other email tool and we pass the list to nobody else.

Server technical logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare keeps temporary technical logs (IP address, browser type, time of access) to deliver the page and protect against attacks. Those logs belong to Cloudflare, follow Cloudflare's policy, and are not used by us to profile visitors.

When you click a cart button

The buttons take you to dōTERRA's official store at doterra.com. From the moment you leave here, dōTERRA's privacy policy applies, not ours. If you open a customer account through one of our links, dōTERRA identifies us as the referring Advocate and shows us, in their system, your contact details and your account's order history. We use that only to serve you; we do not sell, rent or share it with third parties.

What we send, and how often

Content about how to read a label, what the numbers on a bottle mean, and the routines we publish. At most once a week, and in many weeks not at all. We do not buy lists, do not import contacts from anywhere, and do not message anyone who has not confirmed. If we ever offer WhatsApp, the same rules apply, and you leave by replying STOP.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

You may ask at any time what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to [[MAIL]]. We answer within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes in what we collect or in who processes it, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it. If the change matters to people already on the list, we tell them by email first.
